Thwaite Chapel Cottages
Ideal for active or relaxing holidays, our cottages sit in the pretty village of Thwaite, near Muker, nestled in Swaledale in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Both of our self-catering holiday cottages are set within the Grade II listed former village chapel, located alongside the beck and waterfalls, with the benefit of private off-road parking.
Start your day walking or cycling from your cottage door. The Pennine Way, James Herriot Way and Coast to Coast walks all pass close by. Cyclists can try out the Swale Trail, or follow the route of Le Tour 2014. Secure storage is available for bikes.
For food and drink, a scenic mile-long walk across the fields will take you to the Farmer’s Arms traditional pub in Muker. The bustling market town of Hawes is a short drive away, over the famous Buttertubs Pass.
